FAITHFUL FOR A PROMISE
A promise from God is a statement we can depend on with absolute confidence. Here are 12 promises for the Christian to claim:
God’s presence -- "I will never leave thee" (Heb. 13:5)
God’s protection -- "I am thy shield" (Gen. 15:1)
God’s power -- "I will strengthen thee" (Isa. 41:10)
God’s provision -- "I will help thee" (Isa. 41:10)
God’s leading -- "And when He putteth forth His own sheep, He goeth before them" (John 10:4)
God’s purposes -- "I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil" (Jer. 20:11)
God’s rest -- "Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matt. 11:28)
God’s cleansing -- "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9)
God’s goodness -- "No good thing will He withhold from them that work uprightly" (Psalm 84:11)
God’s faithfulness -- "The Lord will not forsake His people for His great name’s sake" (1 Sam. 12:22)
God’s guidance -- "The meek will He guide" (Psalm 25:9)
God’s wise plan -- "All things work together for good to them that love God" (Rom. 8:28)

GUARD YOUR THINKING
- Your thoughts determine your character
- Be careful of you thoughts; they may break into words at any time
- Don't waste your thoughts on whose who don't hunger for them
- The first person you lead is you, and the first organ you master is your mind
- Don't let your mind drift away from God's truth and into vain envy
- Stay confident that your vision will come to pass
- Discipline your thoughts to remain steadfast in what you know is right

I CHOOSE
To live by choice, not by chance,
To be motivate, not manipulated,
To be useful, not used
To make changes, not excuses
To excel, not compete
I choose self esteem, not self pity,
I choose to listen to my inner voice,
not to the random opinions of others
I choose to do the things that you won't so I can continue to do the things you can't

CHARTING THE COURSE
We would do well to plan and organize by:
- Give time for planning and organizing. Determine your primary purpose
- Understand where you are before trying to develop a strategy
- Prioritize the needs and goals of the team by asking the right questions
- Write goals that are realistic, measurable, and convincing
- Clarify goals and communicate with your team
- Identify possible obstacles. Have an open system approach to your planning
- Budget your cost and time by scheduling everything you can and setting deadlines
- Study the results. Evaluation prevents stagnation and exaggeration
- Remember, anyone can steer the ship, but it takes a leader to chart the course

LESSONS FROM NOAH
1. Don't miss the boat
2. We are all in the same boat
3. Plan ahead. It was not raining when Noah built the ark
4. Stay fit. When you are six hundred years old, someone may ask you to do something big
5. Do not listen to critics; just do the job that needs to be done
6. Build your future on high ground
7. For safety's sake, travel in pairs
8. Speed is not always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs
9. When you are stressed, float awhile
10. Remember, the ark was built by amateurs, the Titanic by professionals
11. No matter the storm, when you are with God, there is always a rainbow waiting

BERJALAN CUKUP BANYAK
Alkitab Bahasa Inggris menulis, "These are the records of the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time; Noah walked with God."
"I will also walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people." (Leviticus 26:12)

A COMMITMENT OF WORDS
We commit to using our words to defend and heal, not to harm
We will not gossip
We will not belittle
We will guard our sisters by always speaking the best about them, encouraging them into all God would have them to be, and offering grace instead of condemnation
We will be loyal and loving, remembering that even if we disagree we still fight on the same side, never against each other
We will use our words to build up not tear down, to bring hope and not hurt
We offer our words as a powerful weapon to fight for each other on the side of all that is good, right, and true
(Holley Gerth)
