PRAYING FOR YOUR FUTURE HUSBAND
"Lord, I lift up my future husband to You and pray, according to Your Word, that:
- He would cherish me, his future wife, as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25)
- He would flee from temptation and be freed from any bondage to sin (Romans 12:9; John 10:10; Isaiah 61:1)
- He would meditate day and night on Your Word, pray without ceasing and stay faithful to Christ to the end (Psalm 1:1-3, 1 Thess. 5:17, Hebrew 12:1-2)
- He will love You with all his heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30, 1 Samuel 16:7)
- He will be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger (James 1:19)
- You protect him physically, mentally, and spiritually (Psalm 28:7-9, Psalm 41, John 17:15, 2 Thess. 3:3)
- You will instruct him and teach him in the way he should go (Psalm 32:8)
- He would develop strong relationship with other godly men (Ephesians 4:24-25, Hebrew 10:24, Proverb 27:17)
- He would be Kingdom minded and a ministry partner (Matthew 6:20-21, Matthew 6:33, Colossians 3:2)
- He will fear You, walk in wisdom and righteousness (1 Kings 9:4-5, Proverbs 1:7, Proverbs 15:33)
- He will walk in humility before You and have a teachable spirit (Micah 6:8; 2 Timothy 3:16)
