THINK LIKE A WINNER
A winner is always ready to tackle something new
A loser is prone to believe it can't be done
A winner is not afraid of competition
A loser excuses himself with the idea that the competition beat him
A winner knows he is sometimes wrong and is willing to admit his mistakes
A loser can usually find someone to blame
A winner is challenged by a new problem
A loser doesn't want to face it
A winner is decisive
A loser frustrated himself with indecision
A winner realizes there is no time like the present to get a job done
A loser is prone to procrastinate with the hope that things will be better tomorrow
A winner thinks positively, acts positively
A loser usually has a negative approach to everything
So if you want to be a winner, think like a winner, act like a winner and, sooner than you think, you will be a winner

FIVE WAYS TO TEACH YOUR CHILD THE ART OF SHARING
1. Always look for ways to include your child in your gift giving and sharing
2. Brainstorm with your child on ways to make a sad friend smile
3. Make an action plan for sharing. Prepare an easy and age-appropriate plan so that the child may take an active role
4. When delivering a gift, take the children with you and make them an important part of the delivery
5. Be a model for your children by sharing your resources with a family that is less fortunate, donating clothes or supplies to natural-disaster victims, collecting toys for a toy drive, or baking a batch of cookies for a sick neighbor

MINTA HADIAH ULANG TAHUN

(Yohanes 4:14)

WORDS TO HELP US GROW
When I don't have the answer, God is the Answer
When the storms of life threaten to shipwreck me, Jesus is my Anchor
When I am lost, God is omnipresent
When I am weak, God is strong
When I need shelter, God is my refuge
When I am afraid, God is my Father
When I am sinful, Jesus is my sacrifice
When I doubt, God is faithful
When I am besiege, God is my Shield
When I am in the dark, Jesus is my Light
When I am lost, Jesus is the Way
When I am sinking, God holds me in His hand
When the shifting sands threaten to bury me, God is a firm Foundation

FIVE WAYS TO BE A GREAT DAD TODAY
Being a great dad doesn't have to be difficult. We have five things you can do today:
1. Look at your children and call out their best.
Be your kid's biggest fan. Your children are waiting for you to call out their best. They are waiting for you to give them praise and affirmation. Call out what they did right in their choices and actions. Call out what you like best about them. Call out the fact that you love them deeply.
2. Love your children by touching them gently and speaking to them softly.
There is nothing so powerful as a father’s touch. A soft and gentle touch - a hug, a kiss on the head - can make a child feel safe and secure.
3. Listen to what your children are saying and to what they are not saying.
Spend time listening to your children talk about their day. Ask them questions and listen to what they are not saying. Listening will only take a few minutes, but the impact will last a lifetime.
4. Leave a legacy by giving your children a memory.
Make a plan to do something simple but something that your children can always remember. Read the same story each night for a month, play a certain game each week, fix the same dinner or breakfast every Saturday.
5. Laugh with your children.
Allow your children to find the joy in life that comes with innocence. Then laugh with your children in these moments and find the deepest joy that is known in the heart of a parent.
If you take the time to love, laugh, look, listen, and leave a
legacy—you will connect with your kids and be the dad they need and want
you to be.

NINE INSIGHT FOR GETTING AHEAD
1. Work hard - follow tasks through to completion
2. Think creatively - see challenges from new angles
3. Speak gently - consider the impact of y our words
4. Cooperate freely - meet the need of the moment - even when it is not yours
5. Act with integrity - be the same privately as you are publicly
6. Honor others - recognize your coworkers' contribution
7. See insightfully - look beyond the obvious
8. Listen thoroughly - discern what is meant - not just what is said
9. Respond appropriately - deal with mistakes openly and fairly

APPRECIATING GOOD DAYS
- Give thanks, over and over again. Recognize the rarity and beauty of the gift. Appreciate it. Store the moments in your memory
- Share the day with someone you love - either by doing something together or by telling somebody about it
- Capture the good day for the future by writing in your journal, sketching the beauty around you, talking about it to your children
- When the day is over, let it go with good grace. Smile and sigh and trust God for tomorrow

A BLESSING FROM THE BIRDS
Said the robin to the sparrow,
"I should really like to know
Why these anxious human beings
Rush around and worry so."
Said the sparrow to the robin,
"Friends, I think that it must be
That they have no heavenly Father
Such as cares for you and me."

(Mazmur 31:25)

REMEMBER TO LISTEN
Listen.....and look each other in the eye as you share and talk together
Listen.....and seek above all else to understand your mate
Listen.....and don't retreat when it feels uncomfortable. Share what is really important
Listen.....and try not to defend yourself. Remember, "winning" is not the goal, understanding is
Listen.....and don't react negatively to your mate's answers. Instead encourage each other to share deeper feelings by asking more questions
(Dennis and Barbara Rainey)

PINTU OTOMATIS

"Tak berkesudahan kasih setia Tuhan, tak habis-habisnya rahmatNya, selalu baru tiap pagi, besar kesetiaanMu" (Ratapan 3:22-23)

THE FACES OF LOVE
JOY is love exalted
PEACE is love in response
LONG-SUFFERING is love enduring
GENTLENESS is in society
GOODNESS is love in action
FAITH is love on the battlefield
MEEKNESS is love in school
TEMPERANCE is love in training

BARRIES TO GROWTH
1. I AM COMFORTABLE
Staying in the comfort zone and living at the present level of success is easier and less stressful than exerting effort to make needed changes
2. I AM AFRAID OF FAILURE
Fear of making mistake or risking possible failure discourages trying anything new or different
3. DISAPPROVAL HURTS
The desire to avoid disapproval, either by themselves or by others, limits many behavior that is calculated to please
4. I DON'T WANT TO ROCK THE BOAT
Anxiety about changing the status quo convinces some that change is negative and not worth the risk
5. I DON'T HAVE WHAT IT TAKES
A poverty mentality, coupled with a false sense of inferiority, causes some people to believe they do not deserve the rewards of using their full potential
6. SUCCESS MIGHT NOT BE GOOD FOR ME
An illogical fear of success prevents many from breaking their success barrier. They feel unworthy or they fear they will not know how to handle success, so they subconsciously avoid it
7. GOD DOESN'T WANT ME TO SUCCEED
This unfounded belief of God sends many great dreams into a tailspin. Scripture says, "I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2)

WORDS OF WISDOM
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm
All I have seen teaches me to trust the Creator for all I have not seen
Trust men and they will be true to you; treat them greatly and they will show themselves great
If we encountered a man of rare intellect, we should ask him what books he read
Life is not so short but that there is always time enough for courtesy
Activity is contagious
Always do what you are afraid to do
The invariable mark of wisdom is to see the miraculous in the common
Our greatest glory consists not in never falling, but in rising up every time we fall
One of the most beautiful compensations of this life is that no one can sincerely try to help another without helping himself
(Ralph Waldo Emerson)

WINNER VERSUS LOSER
A winner says, "Let's find out."
A loser says, "Nobody knows."
When a winner makes a mistake, he says, "I was wrong."
When a loser makes a mistake, he says, "It wasn't my fault."
A winner goes through a problem
A loser goes around it, and never gets past it
A winner makes commitments
A loser makes promises
A winner says, "I am good, but not as good as I ought to be."
A loser says, "I am not as bad as a lot of people are."
A winner tries to learn from those who are superior to him
A loser tries to tear down those who are superior to him
A winner says, "There ought to be a better way to do it."
A loser says, "That is the way it is always been done here."

SUKA DIKASIH GRATIS

(Filipi 1:9)
