ABC FOR DADS
Accept your children as they are, which will encourage them to be all the Lord wants them to be
Bible-base your parenting, marriage, job, relationship, thoughts, and daily life
Compassion is not a sign of weakness but one of the great strength in the Lord, whose heart goes out to you
Discipline in love. It is necessary tool for a father who loves his children
Example. Your actions and words have a powerful, lasting effect on your children. Pattern your life after the Lord's since you children follow the pattern you leave them
Forgiven and forgiving is your heritage through Christ's gifts. Share the gifts.
God-fearing. Stand in awe of the ultimate Father as you father
Hope in the certainty of God's promises as you walk daily as a parent and as His dearly loved child
Interest in your children's interests says to them, "I love you!"
Joke around more. Lighten up!
Know your family - their needs, wants, joys, fears, likes, and dislikes
Love. Nothing more needs to be said
Mom-lover. Love your children's mother
No. It is a necessary word at times, but not at all times
Oasis. Create a godly home for your children that is an oasis in the midst of their wilderness days
Play!
Quake in God's presence. You are on holy ground
Rejoice! I will say it again, rejoice!
Servant father. You are called to a position of authority. You also were called to serve
Thankful. O, give thanks, father, for the showers of God's blessings
Undermine the plans that Satan has to undermine your family
Verify the love you have for your family. Do it daily in words and actions
Worship the Lord faithfully and joyfully with your family
X. Sometimes there are no words to describe the calling to be a godly father
Yearn to follow closer in your Savior's footsteps
Zest. Add this to your personal prayer list and to your life
(Tim Wesemann)

FOUR TRUTH ABOUT PASSION
1. Passion is the first step to achievement
Your desire determine your destiny. The stronger your fire, the greater the desire - and the greater the potential
2. Passion increases your willpower
There is not substitute for passion. It is fuel for the will. If you want anything badly enough, you can find the willpower to achieve it
3. Passion changes you
If you follow your passion - instead of others' perceptions - you can't help but become a more dedicated, productive person. In the end, your passion will have more influence than your personality
4. Passion makes the impossible possible
Human beings are so made that whenever anything fires their soul, impossibilities vanish
(John Maxwell)

LEADERSHIP AND THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT
Love - is my leadership motivated by love for people?
Joy - do I exhibit an unshakable joy, regardless of life's circumstances?
Peace - do people see my peace and take courage?
Longsuffering - do I wait patiently for results as I develop people or goals?
Kindness - am I caring and understanding toward everyone I meet?
Goodness - do I want the best for others and the organisation?
Faithfulness - have I kept my commitments?
Gentleness - I my strength under control? Can I be both tough and tender?
Self-control - am I disciplined to make progress toward my goals?

PHILOSOPHY OF TEAM BUILDING
- The team possesses a variety of gifts or positions, but pursues the same goal and God
- Everyone has a contribution to make
- God is the source of each gift, so He deserves the glory
- God chooses who has what gifts, so we must not compete or compare
- Team members are to function like the organs and muscles in a body
- No team member is less important than another
- God's goal is team harmony and mutual care
- Although members are equally important, they are meant to be diverse
- We should not compete with each other, but complete each other

FOUR PRINCIPLES TO GROW TOWARD YOUR POTENTIAL
1. CONCENTRATE ON ONE MAIN GOAL
Nobody ever reached their potential by scattering themselves in twenty directions. Reaching your potential requires focus
2. CONCENTRATE ON CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT
Commitment to continual improvement is the key to reaching our potential. Each day you can become a little bit better than you were yesterday
3. FORGET THE PAST
Maybe you have made a lot of mistakes in your life, or you have had an especially difficult past. Work your way through it and move on
4. FOCUS ON THE FUTURE
You can become better tomorrow than you are today

BE A WORTHY FOLLOWER
1. Ask the right questions
Give thought to the questions you will ask before your time with your mentor. Make the questions strategic for your growth
2. Don't let ego get in the way of learning
3. Respect the mentor but don't idolize them
Making the mentor an idol removes our critical faculty for adapting a mentor's knowledge and experience to ourselves
4. Put into effect immediately what you are learning
5. Be disciplined in relating to the mentor
Arrange for ample time, select the subject matter in advance, and do your homework to make sessions profitable
6. Don't threaten to give up
Let your mentor know that you have made a decision for progress, so they will know they are not wasting their time

WE NEED TO TEACH OUR DAUGHTERS TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN:
A man who flatters her and
A man who complement her,
A man who spends money on her and
A man who invests in her
A man who views her as property and
A man who views her properly
A man who lusts after her and
A man who loves her
A man who believe he is a gift to women and
A man who believes she is a gift to him
And then we need to teach our sons to be that kind of man
