EATING RIGHT

1. AIM FOR A HEALTHFUL WEIGHT

An easy way to remember is that the bulk of your diet should consist of grains, fruits, and vegetables

Eat breads and cereals made of whole grains

5. CHOOSE A VARIETY OF FRUITS AND VEGETABLES DAILY


6. KEEP FOOD SAFE TO EAT

Keep raw food separated from cooked food


7. CHOOSE A DIET LOW IN SATURATED FAT AND CHOLESTEROL WHILE MODERATE IN TOTAL FAT


8. CHOOSE BEVERAGE AND FOOD TO MODERATE YOUR INTAKE OF SUGARS

Soft drinks are the leading source of added sugar in the American diet


9. CHOOSE AND PREPARE FOODS WITH  HERBS AND USE LESS SALT
