WHEN NOT TO OPEN YOUR MOUTH

When you are in the heat of anger

When you don't have all the facts

When it is time to listen

When you are tempted to joke about sin

When you would be ashamed of your words later

When your words might convey the wrong impressioin

When the issue is none of your business

When you are tempted to tell an outright lie

When your words will damage someone else's reputation

When your words might hurt a relationship

When you may have to eat your words later

When you have already said too much

When you have promised to keep a confidence

When you tend to talk before thinking

When your words stir up dissension

When you are tempted to praise yourself
